This privacy policy is used to inform users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information when using our mobile application NanoConfig (“App”, “Service”, “Services”).

If you choose to use our mobile application, then you agree to the collection and use of information concerning this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. we will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information collection and use

In Short: Some information — such as IP address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Apps.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate the Apps. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser, and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Apps and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Apps, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our App, in a case of an error in the App, we collect data and information (through third party services: Firebase Crashlytics and Google Play Services) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app, the time and date of your use of the App, and other statistics.

These logs help us find the faults in our Apps and Services and to further improve our Apps and Services.

Analytics

We also collect anonymized usage statistics of the App (through third party services: Google Analytics for Firebase, Google Play Services).

We use these to monitor and analyze the use of the App and our Services, for technical administration, and to increase functionality and user-friendliness.

Information sharing

In Short: We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.

We may process or share data based on the following legal basis:

  • Consent: We may process your data if you have given us specific consent to use your personal information in a specific purpose.
  • Legitimate Interests: We may process your data when it is reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests.

Data retention

We normally retain collected data for no longer than 2 months. We may retain the data longer in order to solve a problem with the App or to administer your inquiries. We may also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Consistent with these requirements, we will try to delete your information quickly upon request. Please note, however, that there might be latency in deleting information from our servers and backed-up versions might exist after deletion.

Security

Your personal data safety is of the utmost importance to us. We review and strive to improve our security measures on a regular basis.

We follow generally accepted standards to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. We protect your Personal Information by methods of encryption and information hashing (where possible). No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We have implemented appropriate measures in the form of various technical, physical and other means, including, but not limited to measures regarding the security of our electronic systems and databases, locks, racks, cases and other devices and access controlling systems, fire-notifying and fire extinguishing systems. These means aim at improving the integrity and security of the personal information that we collect and maintain. However, please be advised that even the best security measures cannot guarantee the full elimination of all risks.

If we learn of a personal data breach that affects our Services we will attempt to notify you electronically so that timely and appropriate protective steps can be taken. Apart from informing you via email, we may post a notice through the website if a security breach occurs.

Termination

This Privacy Policy is effective until terminated by either party. If you no longer agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy, you must cease the use of our Apps and Services. If you are dissatisfied with LXNAV d.o.o., its content, or any of these terms, conditions, and policies, your sole legal remedy is to discontinue using the Services. LXNAV d.o.o., reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to and use of the Services, or parts of them, without notice, if we believe, in our sole discretion that such use is in violation of any applicable law, or harmful to our interests or the interests of another person or entity, or where LXNAV d.o.o. has reasons to believe that their use is in violation of this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use.

Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed to persons under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, they should contact us at [email protected]. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, we will take steps to delete such information from our files.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may change from time to time. If we make a change to this privacy policy that we believe materially reduces your rights, we will provide you with notice (for example, by email) and we may provide notice of changes in other circumstances as well. By continuing to use the App or Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.

Governing law

This Privacy Policy and the use of the App are governed by the laws of Slovenia. The parties undertake to first try to resolve the dispute with negotiation. If the parties fail to reach an amicable resolution through negotiation, LXNAV d.o.o. agrees to submit the dispute to the competent Court of Slovenia.

If you are using the App in another jurisdiction, please be advised that you are transferring your personal information to LXNAV d.o.o. in Slovenia and, by using the App or services, you consent to that transfer and to abide by the applicable laws concerning your use of the website and your agreement(s) with us.
